Frank Guengerich, Executive Vice President

Frank Guengerich has been extensively involved in the health club, spa and athletic industry for the past 20 years. He is regularly invited to speak at internationally recognized conferences such as the IHRSA Business Conference and the IHRSA/ISPA International Annual Conference. For 5 years, Mr. Guengerich was Vice President of the Sport and Health Company, the nation’s seventh largest health and leisure ownership company. While there, Mr. Guengerich operated several upscale multi-purpose athletic clubs and spas that had combined gross revenue of over $16 million, and he supervised a staff in excess of 600 employees. Their flagship athletic club and spa for which Mr. Guengerich had management responsibilities (the Worldgate Athletic Club) is recognized nationally as one of the premier leisure clubs in the U.S.

Prior to his role with the Sport and Health Company, Mr. Guengerich was Sr. Vice President of WTS International for 10 years. While at WTS, Mr. Guengerich worked closely with WTS clients in all aspects of health club and spa design, strategic planning and operations. His experience includes extensive work with equity investors, real estate developers, hotel and resort general managers, residential property managers and spa service providers. Mr. Guengerich is responsible for systems development and quality standards at WTS, and he is active in business development and operational areas at affiliated spa and health club sites.
