Melissa Flewellyn, Director of Corporate Finance

Ms. Flewellyn joined WTS at the beginning of 2009 after most recently serving as the General Manager of a large community association group located in Virginia. In her role at WTS as the Director of Corporate Finance, Ms. Flewellyn oversees the company’s corporate financial statements, supervises the processing of payroll for all of WTS’ locations throughout the world and manages the human resource department for the firm. In addition, Ms. Flewellyn interfaces with numerous WTS clients in a variety of capacities, including assisting with budget development and re-forecasting.

Prior to her involvement with WTS International, Ms. Flewellyn worked in the financial realm for over 20 years with such organizations as The World Bank, Freddie Mac, Columbia Energy, Enron and The AES Corporation. She specialized in the areas of quantitative finance, advanced financial modeling techniques, and risk management and mitigation. Her background has served her well in developing tools to re-forecast financials for companies dealing with sophisticated transactions. In addition, Ms. Flewellyn has vast experience with financial and energy derivative instruments, including their appropriate valuation and accounting methods, and how to use these complex products to help manage risk.

Ms. Flewellyn graduated from the George Washington University with a Master of Science in Financial Engineering. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the George Mason University and went on to begin pursuing a doctoral degree in Economics there but ultimately decided to focus on Finance.
